International Day of Persons with Disabilities Event

Vanessa Usai • December 7, 2025

Wednesday the 3rd of December is the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities’. It is an annual celebratory day aiming to raise awareness of disability and promote the rights and well-being of people with disabilities. To mark and celebrate the day Cheshire West and Chester Council organised a webinar where representatives from a range of different organisations were invited to describe the role they play in supporting people with disabilities in Cheshire West and Chester. The Parent Carer Forum were very happy to be invited along to present and here are some of the other fantastic organisations who also took part:

Vision Support

Disability Positive

Dial West Cheshire

The People’s Choice Group

The Learning Disability Partnership Board

Livewell Cheshire West and Chester

Chester Deaf Centre
