My name is Julie Duff, I am acting Chair of PCF CWaC. I am Mum to Josh who is 13. Josh is at Oaklands School Winsford.  Josh has Down's syndrome and Achondroplasia (dwarfism)  I became involved in the PCF 6 months ago so that I could get a better understanding of the provision for children and young people with SEND in Cheshire West. I am also the Chair of the Cheshire Down's syndrome Support Group. In this capacity I was getting many messages of concern that children's needs were not being met in a timely manner in CWaC. I hoped that getting involved in the PCF would give me a greater understanding of how to influence and change some current practices.
